Complex Zero’s are simply expressions, and always occur in pairs. These are the imaginary roots that
were discussed earlier. All imaginary roots have the letter i in them. That is what makes them
imaginary and can be written in the form a + bi. It is a rule that complex zero’s always come in pairs
and if a + bi is a zero then so is a – bi. Also, if a – bi is a root then so is a + bi. For example, if 2 + 4i is
a zero then so is 2 – 4i.
